Podcast Audio Editing Opportunity
This is a contract remote role for a Podcast Audio Editor. The role involves working closely with the content team to maintain brand consistency and meet deadlines efficiently.
The Podcast Audio Editor will be responsible for editing podcast audio files, enhancing sound quality, implementing sound design, adding music, and ensuring overall quality control for each episode. Each edited episode must meet broadcast standards and adhere to client requirements.
* Edit raw podcast audio into polished, broadcast-ready episodes that are engaging and easy to follow.
* Remove filler words, false starts, redundancies, and off-topic tangents to enhance listener experience.
* Improve pacing, clarity, and flow without changing the speaker's voice or intent.
* Restructure sections when needed based on how questions were answered and create seamless transitions between them.
* Insert intro/outro, sponsor reads, disclaimers, or updates when required.
* Follow embedded audio notes and written instructions carefully to deliver high-quality final products.
* Deliver clean final WAV/MP3 files on deadline as well as produce 3–4 short clips per episode for marketing use.
* Support up to two rounds of edits per episode when requested by clients.
