Help Desk Specialist Job Description
At our company, we are seeking a talented Help Desk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our users and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID (Azure AD), and user support through ticketing systems. You will also be responsible for performing basic Windows and Linux server maintenance, network troubleshooting, and collaborating with infrastructure and security teams to improve operational efficiency and end-user experience.
Responsibilities:
* Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for users, resolving incidents and service requests via the ticketing system.
* Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.
* Manage user accounts, groups, and access permissions in Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
* Perform basic maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux servers.
* Support network-related issues such as connectivity, DHCP, DNS, and VPN access.
* Document technical procedures, configurations, and solutions.
* Collaborate with other IT teams on escalations, system improvements.
Requirements:
* Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
* Proven experience in IT support, preferably in corporate or enterprise environments.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and Entra ID (Azure AD).
* Basic understanding of Windows Server and Linux environments.
* Basic knowledge of network concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
* Experience with IT ticketing systems and customer support.
* Advanced English.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900, MD-102, AZ-104).
* Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell or scripting.
* Familiarity with ITIL practices or similar support frameworks.
