Job Overview
This position will report to the General Manager and will be the main responsible for the revenue strategy of the assigned hotel. It involves leading Commercial Strategy and Performance Meetings, conducting special projects as assigned, managing rooms inventory, rates, and Revenue Management systems to maximize Total Revenue and Market Share, forecasting, budgeting, business planning, month‑end and ad‑hoc analysis, and communicating rates, restrictions and strategies to the assigned property. The individual holding this position is responsible for team supervision and training, including but not limited to Cluster Revenue Analyst and Reservations Supervisor.
Responsibilities
As the Senior Revenue Manager, you would be responsible for monitoring, managing and maintaining group and transient inventories to ensure the most effective and efficient balance between demand and availability in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Defining overall revenue strategy for the assigned hotel, including all business segments as well as other revenue‑driven Departments
Exploring business opportunities that drive profit, create value for clients, and encourage innovation; challenging existing processes/systems/products to make improvements
Providing revenue management functional expertise to the property General Manager and Leadership teams
Making decisions and solving problems – analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems
Communicating information in a timely manner – informing and/or updating the executives, peers and subordinates on relevant information
Completing weekly, monthly and full‑year forecasts as well as budgets and business plans
Analyzing all available systems data to identify trends, future need periods and obstacles to achieving goals
Outlining risks and opportunities relative to revenue forecasts
Implementing revenue management action plan in a timely manner
Generating and delivering accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
Ensuring that restrictions, rates and strategies are modified as market conditions fluctuate
Preparing the agenda and conducting commercial strategy meetings
Monitoring compliance in terms of distribution
Checking distribution channels for hotel positioning, information accuracy and competitor positioning, exploring opportunities in partnership with Marketing
Adopting new revenue management systems and tools to drive revenue and profit opportunities
Recruiting, managing, training and developing the revenue and reservations team, as well as strategically guiding the assigned Department to achieve team and organizational goals
Ensuring team members have current knowledge for all relevant processes, policies and promotions, as necessary, to perform their duties

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a highly analytical person with strong critical thinking and commercial approach skills. Hospitality experience is required. A minimum of two years of experience in Revenue Management with team leadership is required. Hilton experience is preferred, but not required.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Knowledge of local market
Knowledge of hospitality
Passion for revenue and for achieving targets and objectives

Degree level qualification in a relevant field.
