This is a remote contract role for a Freight Dispatcher. The Freight Dispatcher will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating shipments, managing communication with drivers and carriers, and ensuring timely delivery of freight. The role involves maintaining customer satisfaction through effective communication, problem-solving, and real-time updates. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of dispatch and addressing any unexpected challenges during transit.

* Strong Dispatching skills and experience with logistics coordination
* Excellent Phone Etiquette and Communication skills
* A commitment to Customer Satisfaction and providing top-notch Customer Service
* Organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency in dispatch software or transportation management systems is a plus
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
* Experience in freight or logistics is preferred but not mandatory
