Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting new authors and content for our journal. They will identify and engage with potential authors, guiding them through the manuscript submission process.
The Acquisition Editor will also collaborate with Guest Editors to build Methods Collections, a special issue of our journal.
In this role, you will establish and maintain a strong network of scientists and journal authors to drive content acquisition and grow submission rates.
Requirements:
* A Ph.D. in the Life Sciences.
* Fluent English written and verbal communication skills.
* Results-driven, with an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with the publishing process is a plus.
