The role leads global certification and audit direction, works closely with regional teams to achieve and maintain 100% certification readiness and compliance, and broadens program oversight beyond certification to include legal, environmental, social, traceability, and internal policy requirements. This position also oversees internal assessment of centrally managed global processes - including GHG tool governance, methodology determination, risk management, and related controls - to identify gaps, drive corrective actions, and strengthen end-to-end assurance performance across the business.How You'll Help Us Grow Lead global certification and audit direction across the Assurance Program, including coordination with certification bodies, auditors, and regional teams. Monitor and collaborate with relevant global certification schemes to maintain Nufarm's leadership and competitive position. Own interpretation and implementation guidance for certification requirements, standards, procedures, and related external scheme updates. Drive certification readiness and performance across regions to achieve and maintain 100% certification compliance. Oversee certification program deployment and implementation for new countries, processors, value chain partners, and applicable carbon-credit or market requirements. Support and provide oversight across the internal audit program(s) for regional assurance activities, ensuring audits are completed well, correctly, and comprehensively. This role is not responsible for regional program implementation. Conduct internal assessment or audit of centrally managed global processes owned by the global team, potentially including GHG tool modelling and development, methodology determination, documentation controls, and risk management processes. Identify control gaps, process weaknesses, and compliance risks across legal, environmental, social, and internal requirements. Verify that centrally managed processes are documented, version-controlled, implemented consistently, and supported by appropriate evidence. Facilitate or oversee risk identification, risk assessment, risk management, and risk monitoring activities required under the Assurance Program and associated standards. Contribute to updates to global certification documentation, audit tools, SOPs, work instructions, and related compliance materials. Partner with program management, data/IT, and regional teams to strengthen systems, reporting, and process design for ongoing program improvement. Review regional audit outputs, supporting evidence, and corrective action plans; escalate and ensure closure of significant non-compliances as appropriate. Monitor regional execution of land use verification, traceability, mass balance, UDB-related direction, training, and documentation expectations. Assess regional capability and provide coaching, training, and tools to improve audit quality and consistency. Build trusted working relationships across regions and functions to align expectations, remove barriers, and reinforce accountability. Provide leadership, mentoring, and development for any direct reports and strong matrix leadership for regional assurance personnel.
