Regulatory Research Analyst Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to assume a key role in our Tax & Regulations department.
This fully remote position focuses on researching and tracking global trade regulations primarily across LATAM and North America.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and maintain up-to-date awareness of legislative and regulatory changes in assigned countries using government websites, agencies, third-party sources, and in-country experts.
* Track global trade compliance regulations, including customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other relevant requirements across jurisdictions.
* Interpret, analyze, and document new or amended legislation in an internal repository with high accuracy and clarity.
* Prepare comparative analyses of regulatory changes when required.
* Ensure research and documentation meet ISO process standards.
SAP GTS Alignment:
* Research and provide insights relevant to SAP GTS (v11 or similar), supporting product specialists on topics such as Export Control & Licensing, Import Control & Market Access, Sanctions & Restricted Party Compliance, Customs & Tariff Management, Trade Agreements & Origin Management, Regulatory Reporting & Declarations, Product & Classification Compliance.
* Collaborate with Business Analysts and fellow researchers to validate findings and maintain consistency.
* Support research expansion into Indirect Tax topics where applicable.
