Main responsibilities: Develop and deliver age and developmentally-appropriate curriculum that is grounded on a strong command of disciplinary questions and understandings. Develop relevant curricular offerings that are creative and engaging using the Understanding by Design (UbD) model. Use standards-based grading, competency-based education, and associated rubrics to drive instruction and assessments. Promote the social-emotional learning and well-being of all students. Foster inquiry and higher-order thinking skills. Promote responsibility and autonomy that is developmentally appropriate by communicating and upholding high expectations regarding student preparation and engagement in all class activities.
Requirements: Teaching degree in Education (Pedagogy). Native English or fluent English with international academic experience. Strong ability to collaborate on a grade-level team to plan, develop, and organize activities and events. Deep understanding of the developmental needs of young students. Strong identification with the vision, mission, and values of the school.

Principais responsabilidades: Desenvolver e aplicar um currículo apropriado à faixa etária e ao desenvolvimento das crianças, com domínio dos conteúdos e das questões disciplinares. Elaborar propostas curriculares relevantes, criativas e atrativas, utilizando o modelo Understanding by Design (UbD). Utilizar práticas de avaliação orientadas por critérios e por competências, com rubricas que norteiam o ensino e as avaliações. Promover a aprendizagem socioemocional e o bem-estar de todas as crianças. Estimular a investigação, o pensamento crítico e habilidades cognitivas de ordem superior. Incentivar a responsabilidade e a autonomia de forma adequada ao desenvolvimento infantil, mantendo expectativas claras quanto à preparação e à participação dos alunos em todas as atividades.
Requisitos: Graduação (licenciatura) em Pedagogia. Inglês nativo ou inglês fluente com experiência acadêmica internacional. Capacidade de trabalhar de forma colaborativa com a equipe pedagógica do Kindergarten para planejar, elaborar e organizar atividades e eventos. Compreensão profunda das necessidades de desenvolvimento de crianças na faixa etária da Educação Infantil. Forte alinhamento com a visão, missão e valores da escola.
