As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving top-line revenue growth, spearheading market penetration strategies, and leading key client relationships across the region. You'll take ownership of complex sales cycles, architect tailored Design Envelope solutions and serve as a trusted advisor to decision-makers across the HVAC and fluid-flow landscape.
This role is based in São Paulo, Brazil, and requires regular travel within the region to engage with strategic customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
Territory Sales Responsibilities:
* Exceed assigned bookings and shipment targets in the designated territory.
* Expand and maintain direct customer base through relationship-building with key customers, distributors, and design engineers.
* Identify and develop new customer and market opportunities.
* Prepare proposals and quotations in alignment with Armstrong's sales processes and tools.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
* Cooperate in the development of sales strategies, marketing channels, and sales forecasts.
* Directly manage assigned accounts, ensuring consistent engagement and service excellence.
* Analyze customer feedback to drive continuous service improvements and market share growth.
Sales Process and CRM Management
* Record daily sales activities and customer information in the CRM system.
* Monitor competitive activities and report on market conditions to support strategic decisions.
* Champion the adoption of Armstrong's sales methodologies and ensure compliance with global commercial best practices.
Brand and Market Presence:
* Represent Armstrong at trade fairs and industry events, managing event logistics and engaging with visitors to reinforce the brand.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project alignment.
Leadership and collaboration:
* Support special projects assigned by the line manager.
* Promote a collaborative team environment and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships.
* Executive-level communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
Education and Experience
* University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Minimum of 5 years in technical sales positions, within the HVAC, fluid-flow, or building technology sectors.
* Demonstrated ability to manage customer accounts, prepare forecasts, and use sales software systems effectively.
Technical Skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and data-driven sales reporting tools
* Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, fluid-flow technologies, and related engineering concepts.
