Summary Greenlane Renewables Inc., headquartered in metro Vancouver, Canada, is a pioneer in the rapidly growing renewable natural gas (“RNG”) industry. The position will provide hands-on operational and technical engagement with biogas upgrading equipment directly on the Minas Biogas Upgrading Plant. It requires a strong communicator with the ability to translate field realities to the broader Greenlane organization, while ensuring operations and maintenance activities are effectively planned and executed. Duties & Responsibilities: Health and Safety/Quality Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, and lead by example to ensure company goals are achieved and exceeded. Participate in ongoing training and compliance requirements associated with the industry. Supervise subcontractors on site this includes health, safety & quality compliance. Adhere to the company's Health & Safety Policy and Quality Management System. Perform risk assessments and prepare risk and method statements. Promote a culture of continuous improvement. Service and Maintenance Support hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation components of the biogas upgrading systems. Assist with start-up and performance testing of equipment and systems as needed. Monitor control systems (e.g., PLC, HMI) and perform initial diagnostics of process interruptions. Provide real-time feedback and data from site to engineering and technical services teams to support remote troubleshooting and continuous improvement. Follow lockout/tagout and safety protocols while performing or supervising technical work. Supervise site services and conduct lockout and re-start procedures. Site Coordination Serve as Greenlane’s on-site representative for plant operations. Act as the liaison between Greenlane’s home office, the Minas client, subcontractors, and local service teams. Monitor daily activities, ensure compliance with operational standards, and escalate any risks or deviations to appropriate stakeholders. Coordinate maintenance planning and execution with subcontractors and internal Service personnel. Participate in client meetings and deliver timely reporting of plant status, issues, and corrective actions. Track and follow-up on action items and ensure tasks are executed to meet operational goals. Prepare site logs, progress updates, and ensure documentation is consistently updated. Qualifications and Experience: Post-secondary diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Instrumentation, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in operations coordination, technical support, or project execution in industrial or energy-related fields. Strong understanding of industrial equipment, controls, instrumentation, and safety practices. Previous experience working in biogas, RNG, or related sectors is an asset. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Spanish (written and verbal). Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with competing priorities. Comfortable working 12-hour shifts and a rotational schedule to provide full coverage. Must reside within daily commuting distance to site operations. Must be legally authorized to work in Brazil.
