About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our global tech team on a fully remote basis. This opportunity is open to professionals based in Brazil with fluent English and at least 5 years of Android development experience using Kotlin.
This role offers a unique chance to design, develop, and prototype high-quality Android applications (internal and external), collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver impactful features, and own the full app lifecycle: concept, design, build, test, deploy, and release.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and Development: Develop high-quality Android applications that meet user needs and expectations.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features and functionalities that align with business goals.
* App Lifecycle: Own the entire app development process, from concept to release.
* Architecture and Improvement: Contribute to architecture decisions and continuously improve development practices.
* Mentorship: Mentor fellow engineers and help define coding standards and workflows.
Requirements:
* Android Experience: 5+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin (Java is a plus).
* Shipping High-Quality Apps: Proven experience shipping at least one high-quality Android app with a team.
* Software Engineering Principles: Solid understanding of software engineering principles and Android ecosystem constraints.
* Mobile Application Development: Experience building scalable, reliable, and responsive mobile applications.
* Organizational and Communication Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Self-Motivation: Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

* Distributed Team Experience: Experience working in distributed teams.
