Monitoring import requests with exporters;
Requesting maritime bookings;
Checking shipping documents;
Instructing loading with the carrier;
Preparing and verifyingimport licenses (LI);
Daily follow-upof imports with freight agents, customs brokers, and RFB;
Requesting and following up on import licenses;
Updating arrivals and requesting payments to suppliers;
Verifying and approvingimport expenses for the Finance department;
Filling out reports, Excel spreadsheets, and feeding the ERP system (Elevor);
Issuing import and shipment invoices;
Verifying and requesting Inmetro certification from suppliers;
Sending and monitoring shipments with transport companies;
Analyzing ordervs. shipments;
Drafting documentation and emails in English;
Preparing the product catalog database;
Interacting with other company departments (finance, logistics, sales);
Assisting with customs broker follow-up;
Verifying import documents (invoice, packing list, BL);
Contributing tofinancial analyses and closures;
Analyzing and contracting national and international freight;
Contacting international suppliers.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for operational activities in the department;
Careful analysis and verification of documents;
Teamwork to meet departmental needs;
Systemic process analysis to foresee problems/scenarios.Knowledge and ExperiencePrevious experience in Foreign Trade;
Experience withend-to-end import processes;
Knowledge of import documents and licenses;
Ability to workwith process partners;
Proficiency in relevantterminology;
Intermediate English for documentation and emails;
Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP/H, Dashboards, IF function, etc);
Proactive problem-solving attitude.EducationComplete Higher Education in Foreign Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, or related fields.DifferentialsKnowledge of Regulatory Agencies (INMETRO, IBAMA, MAPA, RF);
Solid experience with customs brokers;
