The itos Group is seeking a skilled Corporate Development Manager to provide strategic business relationships and M&A opportunities.
The Opportunity
* Create and manage an M&A pipeline through Salesforce CRM, driving growth by building strong relationships in assigned software industry verticals.
* Develop measurable strategies to meet monthly M&A targets, such as meaningful contacts and other KPIs related to M&A sourcing.
* Collaborate with leadership to qualify M&A opportunities efficiently, focusing on high-value prospects that align with business objectives.
* Evaluate the lead database for accurate allocation within portfolio verticals, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
* Determine opportunities at the top-end of the acquisition funnel to prioritize focus for Portfolio Managers of business units.
What You Need
* A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Business Development/Sales or client-facing M&A/finance roles within software companies or similar industries.
* A genuine interest in developing long-term pipelines of meaningful relationships as a career trajectory within software investing.
* Previous success in Business Development, autonomous roles, or other fields outside professional BD experience, such as entrepreneurship.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills, with confidence and executive presence to engage with CEOs, M&A advisors, corporate development, private equity, and venture capital professionals.
* Organized, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to variable work hours.
* An extraordinary work ethic, proactive approach, and sense of urgency.
Travel Requirements
* This role involves occasional in-person travel, primarily performed remotely, which may include international destinations.
