The School
The school offers British International education to pupils in EYFS, Primary and Secondary School up to Year 13. The school is located in an exclusive district of Brasilia and enjoys a spacious, green, clean-air environment.
Since opening in 2016, the school has established itself as the school of choice for many expatriate and Brazilian parents seeking an international education in Brasilia. The core of our curriculum is British, with a distinct international flavour. The staff have experience of working both in the UK and abroad and are drawn from a range of countries and cultures.
Responsibilities
* Teaching and Learning
* Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the curriculum and school policies.
* Ensure that all pupils make good progress by using effective assessment to inform planning and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
* Use innovative and effective teaching strategies and resources, including technology to support pupil progress.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan for and support pupils learning.
* Assessment and Pupil Progress
* Pastoral and Personal Development
* Promote the welfare, personal development, and well-being of pupils in all aspects of school life.
* Act as a mentor, supporting pupils’ academic and personal growth.
* Curriculum Contribution and Wider Engagement
* Contribute to the ongoing review and development of the curriculum, schemes of work, and learning resources.
* Engage in professional dialogue with colleagues to share best practices and refine teaching strategies.
* Participate in school trips, events, and extracurricular activities that enrich pupils’ learning experiences.
Qualifications
Applicant must have a recognised Teaching qualification eg Bachelor of Teaching/Education, Masters of Education - or similar
Required Skills
Applicant must be a fully qualified teacher, ideally with a minimum of 1 year experience in the classroom and be able to start immediately!
