MUMPS Developer – Financial Systems (Remote – Americas)

About the Role
We're supporting a client in the Finance space in their search for a skilled MUMPS Developer to support and enhance core financial platforms. This is a unique opportunity to work with legacy technology that still powers mission-critical systems across banking infrastructure. If you're a MUMPS wizard or have experience with GT.M or InterSystems Caché, especially in a financial environment, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
* Maintain and enhance financial applications built using MUMPS, GT.M, or InterSystems Caché
* Debug and optimize legacy code in a high-volume, transaction-heavy environment
* Participate in migration planning and modernization discussions
What We're Looking For
* At least 5 years of experience with MUMPS, GT.M, or InterSystems Caché/ObjectScript
* Financial services experience is required (e.g., banking, trading, ledger/accounting systems)
* Strong understanding of transaction processing, data security, and system reliability
* Ability to navigate and improve legacy codebases in production environments
* Solid English communication skills and comfort working in a distributed, remote team
