Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior JDE Developer who is a true \"Hybrid\" professional—an expert coder who deeply understands the functional logic of Brazil Localization and Global Trade Compliance.
In this role, you will be the technical anchor for a major Global Manufacturing client. You will be responsible for the seamless connection between JDE EnterpriseOne and external Fiscal/Trade engines (e.g., Thomson Reuters, Synchro, or similar). We need someone who understands the \"plumbing\" of Brazil localization—how data flows between JDE and external messaging systems for NFe, GFe, and tax calculations.
Core Specialized Requirements
* Localization & Trade Integration: Proven experience managing the interface between JDE and external Tax/Global Trade platforms.
* Brazil Localization Mastery: Expert knowledge of NFe (Nota Fiscal Eletrônica) and GFe (Freight Management) workflows.
* Fiscal Logic: A deep functional understanding of Brazilian tax calculation (ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS) and its impact on Procurement, Sales, and the General Ledger.
* JDE Orchestrator: Advanced proficiency in building and troubleshooting Orchestrations (including Groovy scripting) for real-time external integrations.
Technical Skills & Experience
* Core JDE Development: Expert-level mastery of RDA, FDA, BDA, TDA, and C BSFNs.
* Integration Protocols: High comfort level with Business Services (BSSV), REST/SOAP APIs, and EDI/Flat File processing.
* Modern Frameworks: Expert use of UDOs (E1 Pages, Watchlists, Personalizations) and BI Publisher.
* Functional Awareness: Ability to act as a \"Technical-Functional Bridge,\" understanding the business process flow behind the technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* System Integration: Maintain and optimize the \"connectors\" between JDE and external fiscal/trade applications to ensure 100% compliance.
* Strategic Problem Solving: Provide Level 1–3 support with a focus on root-cause analysis and long-term architectural stability.
* Collaborative Design: Partner with functional leads and business stakeholders to translate Brazilian regulatory changes into robust JDE solutions.
Languages & Education
* Portuguese: Required (Native/Fluent).
* English: Intermediate / Preferred. (We prioritize your technical-functional JDE expertise over absolute fluency).
* Spanish: A significant plus (for collaboration across our LATAM footprint).
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS OR 10+ years of verifiable Senior JDE experience.
