What you'll do:
Job Summary
Responsible for designing High Voltage Switchgear (Recloser), High Voltage Banks and Cabinet Controls in accordance with customer requirements and standards. Create and execute Engineering Change Requests and manage the product life through the ERP system (SAP). Prepare and detailed mechanical and electrical drawings in auto CAD 2D and Inventor 3D. Generate the Bill of Materials (BOM). Controls the list of drawings and documents. Prepare and maintain product documentation, including data sheets, project timeline, designs and test documentation.
Provide technical support to the Application Engineers and Commercial department in order to meet customer requirements"
Job Responsibilities
Functions:
* Execute engineering projects, perform / analyze calculations and advanced engineering studies.
Plan and execute all phases of (ETO), create the List of Materials (BOM) and their sub-items in SAP, Apply at the product the Engineer Changes Notes (ECN) Engineer Changes Request (ECR) Deviation (DEV).
* Design, develop and implement technical solutions and support the team Analyzes engineering drawings and / or specifications for the process of local industrialization.
* Perform project specification and customization (Mechanical and Electrical). Develop dFMEA and test plan documentation to execute Type Tests and Routing Test required for product improvements / development;
* Do the detailed project drawing in 2D in Auto CAD and 3D in Inventor. (electrical and mechanical)
* Control the revisions drawings sent to the customer for approval and release for production.
* Prepare required engineering reports and record pertinent to assigned projects, metrics and product areas.
* Demonstrate project management and leadership capability, experience in coordinating/completing complex projects on-time.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, production, and quality, to ensure product success.
* Ensure products comply with applicable standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering.
* Relevant experience projecting Electro/Mechanical products.
* Advanced English proficiency is essential for interfacing with U.S. teams, as all projects have global references.
* Hands-on experience with mechanical drawings, electrical circuits, and panel design.
* Experiencie in overseeing 3D solid modeling processes.
* Hands-on experience with Inventor and CAD/CAM or similar software.
* Knowledge of SAP database, Windows Office, and Microsoft Project is mandatory.
