Position Summary...
What you'll do
* Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts and provides clear expectations to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives.
* Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following the One Best Way service model and supporting customer service initiatives, including community programs. Resolves customer needs and issues and develops action plans to correct deficiencies and improve processes.
* Drives financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses in the designated area. Ensures merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes support sales and profitability; develops action plans to mitigate shrink.
* Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognizing performance, and promoting a belonging mindset. Recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs.
* Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, setting goals, and measuring progress.
* Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports the mission and ethics, and applies the Open Door Policy in daily work practices.

Minimum qualifications
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For certain facilities, background checks or state-issued certificates may apply. Associates must attend required trainings and assessments.
Preferred qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University; experience supervising 5 or more direct reports with performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
