Electrical Engineer Position: A Technical Sales and Engineering Role
Technical Sales & Business Development
* Identify, pursue and develop new sales opportunities within utilities, generation and transmission companies, and switchgear/cabinet manufacturers.
* Leverage your professional network to generate leads and set up technical evaluations.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with final customers and partners.
* Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, product demos, and proposals.
* Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer training events.
Protection & Control Engineering
* Collaborate with customers on solution designs, integrating test interfaces into their protection & control workflows.
* Collect and synthesize feedback from customer field reports to inform product refinements and application best practices.
* Provide application feedback to R&D teams, contributing to continuous product improvement.
* Develop and update application notes, wiring diagrams, and test plans.
Customer Support & Training
* Deliver technical training sessions for customers, sales representatives, and partners.
* Act as the lead technical contact for escalations and product quality inquiries.
* Collaborate with Operations to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation, Power Systems, or a related field (Master's a plus).
* 3+ years of experience in Protection & Control engineering, with a focus on relays or any other IED experience.
* Demonstrated ability to blend technical expertise with a sales-oriented approach.
* Proficiency in Portuguese and English verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to both technical and executive audiences.
* Self-organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously in a small-team environment.
* Willingness to travel (customer visits, trade shows, partner trainings).
