Project Overview
The role involves supporting the implementation of a greenfield Calypso instance. This requires establishing an integrated approach to defining and setting up the system, as well as troubleshooting issues that may arise.
Responsibilities
* Develop solutions to Back Office (BO) / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements
* Create and deliver assigned projects/tasks, revising them as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements
* Manage and establish methodology and best practice for BO / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements
* Ensure supporting documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored
* Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient project implementation
* Submit status reports to stakeholders and coordinate updates to steering committees
Skills and Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience working in Capital Markets and on Calypso
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles
* Deep knowledge of financial products across assets
* Proven track record of delivery of accounting and finance-related solutions within Calypso
* Experience of adherence to governance frameworks/implementation and handover to BAU
* Comprehensive knowledge of trade flow, trading systems, and related concepts and technology, including valuation and client/market risk management
* Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner
* Proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources
* Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Experience with working in a highly collaborative and dynamic multi-team environment
* Spanish language proficiency (required)
