The Clinical Trials Co-Director supports the Beacon of Hope clinical trials programs as well as the Personalized Medicine Initiative on a part-time basis.

Principal Accountabilities
Provide administrative support to the Beacon of Hope Programs supported by Novartis and Sanofi.
Attend key internal and external administrative meetings and provide input on trial feasibility and fit, investigator selection, needs for HU administrative procedures and program relationships, and distribution of resources, along with the Director of Clinical Trials & Clinical Trials Unit.
Collaborate with the College of Medicine epidemiologist and provide guidance in the development of the protocol and ensuing IRB submission for evaluating participants.
Design and implementation of the clinical pillar and clinical phenotyping of the Personalized Medicine Initiative.
Review of select clinical research proposals from committed junior faculty.
Provide ongoing mentorship to Beacon of Hope fellows and junior staff and faculty.

Minimum Requirements
Possess MD degree and active license in the District of Columbia. Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical trials design and oversight.
Compensation
Salary Range Disclosure: 72.00 per hour
