Job Title: KC AR Manager
The KC AR Manager is responsible for overseeing KC accounts globally, from an Accounts Receivables perspective, acting as the single point of entry to other OTC Finance processes.
This role involves leading KC AR Controllers/Specialists in managing accounts across various geographies and products.
The manager will engage with relevant stakeholders to provide visibility of outstanding receivables, establish partnerships to address issues structurally, and hold relevant functions accountable for implementing required solutions.
1. Key Responsibilities:
* Owns KC Account fully from Accounts Receivables perspective and be the single point of entry to other OTC Finance processes.
* Lead KC AR Controllers/Specialists across different geographies and oversee daily collection activities through regular connects with these team members, customer contacts and other stakeholders as required.
* Taking strategic decisions, coaching and mentoring, coordinating tasks, appraising performance, conducting pay reviews, and developing employees for future roles.
* Apply in-depth knowledge and experience in the functional area to solve common business issues within established practices and policies.
* Engage with relevant stakeholders to provide visibility of outstanding receivables and establish needed partnerships to fix issues structurally, holding relevant functions accountable for the implementation of required solutions.
* Understand the overall nature of the business and the interdependencies between own and other functions and take decisions more independently.
* Identifies and flags standardization/automation opportunities with FPO/PPO as needed.
* Partners and guides Implementation teams during planning phase of new product being launched or contract renewal phases.
* Owns happy and un-happy flows.
2. Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience in accounting operations, including cost accounting, budget accounting, and accounts payable/receivable.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and handling employee lifecycle responsibilities.
* In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
* Experience with change management and process improvement using AI.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong understanding of business operations and interdependencies between functions.
* Prior experience in Shipping & Logistics would be preferable.
