Electronic Trading – Senior .NET Developer (CLT)
About the Project
This is a greenfield initiative to build and evolve a next-generation electronic trading platform for Fixed Income, designed to support a global trading business. The project is long-term, strategically important, and sponsored at senior business levels, offering strong visibility and stability.
Working closely with business stakeholders and technology teams in Europe and Latin America, you will be part of a high‑performing, agile team building a modern, cloud‑native platform on AWS from the ground up.

Role Overview
You will collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and business partners to design and implement scalable, reliable backend services that support complex electronic trading and pricing workflows.
This is a hands-on senior position, ideal for engineers with solid backend experience who enjoy working on greenfield systems, influencing architecture, and mentoring through technical excellence and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Take ownership of backend software delivery, ensuring quality, scalability, and reliability
* Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using modern .NET technologies
* Contribute to and lead technical design decisions, with well-documented system architecture
* Apply industry best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and system observability
* Collaborate effectively with distributed technology teams and business stakeholders
* Actively contribute to an agile, learning‑driven engineering culture
Required Technical Skills & Experience
* At least 6 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer, working on complex systems
* Strong expertise in .NET / .NET Core and solid understanding of object‑oriented design principles
* Hands‑on experience with ASP.NET Core Web API and RESTful service design
* Solid knowledge of multi‑threading and asynchronous programming
* Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
* Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies (Docker)
* Proven experience designing API‑based, service‑oriented or microservices architectures
* Strong discipline with automated testing (NUnit, Moq, Cucumber or similar)
* Experience with messaging and middleware technologies (RabbitMQ, SignalR, TIBCO, or similar)
* Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git and TeamCity
* Practical experience working in Agile software development environments
Nice to Have
* Knowledge of Fixed Income products or financial markets
* Experience configuring and improving CI/CD pipelines
* Familiarity with JavaScript single‑page application frameworks
* Hands‑on experience using AWS services
