Technical Lead, Landing Page Optimization
Olly Olly is a digital marketing company serving small businesses across the United States. We are looking for an exceptional WordPress developer who can lead our landing page creation and optimization function.
* Landing Page Development & Campaign Execution:
o Design, build, and deploy high-converting landing pages optimized for paid traffic from Meta, Google, and other advertising platforms.
o Owning the complete technical implementation of marketing campaigns from concept through launch.
o Ensuring pixel-perfect tracking setup across all campaigns, including Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, conversion tracking, and retargeting audiences.
o Implementing and troubleshooting complex tracking scenarios including server-side tracking, UTM parameters, and multi-touch attribution.
o Optimizing landing page performance for speed, mobile responsiveness, and conversion rates.
o Conducting A/B testing and implementing rapid iterations based on campaign performance data.
* HubSpot Integration & Data Management:
o Building and maintaining seamless integrations between landing pages and HubSpot CRM.
o Ensuring accurate lead capture, form submissions, and data synchronization.
o Implementing and validating proper lead source attribution and campaign tracking in HubSpot.
o Creating custom workflows and automations to support campaign objectives.
o Troubleshooting data discrepancies and ensuring marketing attribution accuracy.
* Technical Leadership & Team Management:
o Leading and mentoring a team of two WordPress developers.
o Managing workload distribution across multiple concurrent projects and campaigns.
o Establishing and enforcing development standards, quality assurance protocols, and best practices.
o Conducting code reviews and providing constructive technical feedback.
o Creating project timelines and ensuring on-time delivery of campaign assets.
o Serving as the escalation point for complex technical challenges.
* Quality Assurance & Risk Management:
o Implementing rigorous QA processes before any campaign launch.
o Verifying all tracking mechanisms are functioning correctly across devices and browsers.
o Maintaining detailed documentation of tracking implementations and technical specifications.
o Proactively identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact campaign performance.
o Ensuring compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) in all tracking implementations.
* Required Qualifications:
o 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
o Direct experience managing technical execution of marketing campaigns with $1M+ in total ad spend.
o Must have been the PRIMARY person responsible for landing page build and campaign launch (not just a contributor on a larger team).
o Portfolio demonstrating high-converting landing pages you've personally built and deployed.
* Technical Expertise:
o Proven experience implementing Git-based version control (GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket) and configuring Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for WordPress.
o Expert-level WordPress development skills including ACF. Gutenberg, custom theme development, plugin customization, and advanced page builders (Elementor, Divi, or similar).
o Deep understanding of Meta Business Suite, Meta Pixel implementation, and Conversions API.
o Proven experience with HubSpot CRM integration, forms, and tracking implementation.
o Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and PHP.
o Experience with VueJS is a plus.
o Experience with conversion tracking pixels across multiple platforms (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, etc.).
o Knowledge of Google Tag Manager and server-side tracking implementations.
o Understanding of marketing analytics, attribution models, and conversion optimization principles.

o Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring developers.
o Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects.
o Clear communication style with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
