About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding customer needs and challenges, as well as industry trends. This individual will participate in the sales process from a technical perspective, developing solutions that address clients' demands.
This role requires leading technical sales support, showcasing expertise in Advanced Process Control (APC) and related areas to simplify customer understanding of APC solutions.
The successful candidate will demonstrate consultative skills in customer-facing situations to recognize issues, understand customers' businesses, and create reliable value propositions.
This position involves handling and contributing to customer consulting engagements with workshops, assessments, seminars, technical presentations, and software demonstrations to facilitate sales.
The role also supports marketing pipeline development, sales execution, and generates commercial proposals for assigned opportunities.
This individual will work closely with the sales team in planning activities.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Technology, Science, or Mathematics.
* At least 4 years of experience working in the oil & gas, mining, or refining industry.
* Knowledge of process automation and flow processes.
* Previous experience with APC is a plus.
* Problem-solving skills with strong analytical abilities to transform customers' requirements into concrete business solutions.
* Creative skills capable of delivering exceptional presentations to middle management professionals.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with advanced English proficiency required.
* Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
