About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Back-end Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable and high-performance applications. Your expertise in back-end development using Ruby on Rails, along with experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS and API Gateway, is highly valued.
Some key responsibilities include:
* Designing and developing large-scale Ruby on Rails applications with a focus on scalability and performance.
* Building and managing AWS infrastructure components using Terraform and DevOps best practices.
* Implementing and maintaining serverless solutions leveraging AWS Lambda and related services.
* Integrating and maintaining APIs and external systems, ensuring reliability and data consistency.
Additionally, you will be expected to refactor legacy components to improve maintainability, performance and code clarity, write and maintain automated tests, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality development standards.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical thinking, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. They should also possess strong communication skills and be able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
