Podcast Audio Editor Position Overview
Sofia Health is seeking an experienced Podcast Audio Editor to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Edit raw podcast audio into polished, broadcast-ready episodes;
* Remove filler words, false starts, redundancies, and off-topic tangents;
* Improve pacing, clarity, and flow without changing the speaker's voice or intent;
* Restructure sections when needed based on how questions were answered;
The ideal candidate will have proven experience editing long-form podcasts (interview or narrative style), possess strong editorial judgment with excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Audio Editing including cleaning trimming fine-tuning audio files;
• Experience with Sound Design and the ability to enhance audio with effects background elements;
• Knowledge of sound music production basics seamlessly incorporating them into content;
• Strong Editing skills paired with attention to detail maintain high-quality output; Familiarity with Adobe Audition Audacity similar tools
