Ocean Network Express (ONE) was incepted on July 7, 2017, following the liner service integrations of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (“K” LINE), Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) and Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK). The new entity functions from its global headquarters in Singapore, supported by regional headquarters in Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Kingdom, the United States, Dubai and Brazil. ONE is the world’s seventh-largest container carrier with a fleet size of approximately 1.53 million TEU. Role Responsibilities and Activities:
* Container Fleet Maintenance Control: Managing regional maintenance operations to ensure the lowest possible cost.
* Estimate Management: Analyzing, approving, or rejecting repair estimates and performing inspections according to MNR ONE policies.
* Data Analysis & Visualization: Developing dashboards based on critical analysis of operational metrics.
* Regional Support: Supporting M&R (Maintenance & Repair) activities across Latin America and monitoring local office performance.
* Equipment Turnaround Time (TAT): Monitoring estimate reception times and repair performance per country for damaged equipment.
* Container Preparation: Coordinating GOH (Garment on Hanger) installations, special repairs (Upgrades), and reefer preparation.
* M&R Recovery/Recharge: Analyzing third-party damages and applying M&R fees for cost recovery.
* Technical Assistance & On-board Service: Coordinating support for laden containers by liaising between service providers, terminals, and local offices.
* Claims Management: Analyzing damage characteristics and identifying responsible parties to ensure repair costs are recovered from third parties (3P).

* Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge in inspection and repair for Dry and Reefer containers (machinery + PTI), IICL criteria, refrigeration systems across various manufacturers, and data downloading.
* Process Improvement: Utilizing Lean methodology to manage time and M&R activities across Latin American countries.
Required Skills:
* Language Proficiency: Intermediate/Advanced English;
Basic Spanish (desirable).
* Shipping & Container Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a container depot, with a background as a Container Inspector, Reefer Technician, or Equipment Controller.
* Advanced Excel: Expert-level proficiency in data management and complex formulas.
* BI & Dashboards: Intermediate knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and dashboard creation.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, Refrigeration, or Production Engineering.
