Along with our partner, we are looking for a Technical Consultant with a strong mix of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to drive the successful deployment and personalization of our partner's software for their clients. This is a customer-facing, hands-on role that requires a strong blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, excellent soft skills, and a customer-first mindset.
The ideal candidate possesses the technical capability (particularly with JavaScript and SQL) to translate defined business requirements into practical software configurations. You must be deeply curious about solving unique technical challenges and skilled at working within our highly configurable platform. This role involves direct system configuration and may include acting as an extension of the client's internal team under our partner's management, demanding excellent communication and adaptability. While not a full-stack development position, it requires more technical capability than a business analyst, with a focus on applying coding and configuration skills to deliver functional solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leverage SQL, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and Excel to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize system functionality.
* Work closely with customers to understand their specific requirements before writing any code to ensure solutions fully align with business needs.
* Identify root causes of technical issues before proposing and implementing solutions.
* Monitor system performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
* Document support activities, issue resolutions, and configuration changes for internal records and customer transparency.
* Collaborate with consultants, internal teams, and customers to create optimized and scalable solutions.
* Learn about the company’s highly configurable software system, developing expertise in its unique problem-solving methods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience in Technical Consultant, Implementation Specialist, Solution Consultant, or similar roles.
* Technical proficiency in SQL, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and Excel.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset and the ability to diagnose root causes before acting.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
* Customer-first approach in finding the best solution for the client.
* Curiosity and creativity with the ability to think outside the box when tackling complex system configurations.
* Learning-first mentality.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in configuration or system analysis for business applications.
* Experience with business analysis or enterprise software implementation.
* Background in engineering.
* Ability to work independently and seek out creative solutions in a constantly evolving environment.
Work Schedule: EST or later to overlap with European teams
