Provide day-to-day support for client group Leaders and Colleagues on organizational and employee matters, including coaching, employee grievances, union relations, employee retention, engagement, site culture, and other HR processes and activities.You will provide dedicated guidance and coaching to the Manaus (SMO) site, supporting multiple matrixed organizations.• Partner with client leaders and colleagues to support and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that enable the APS business’s objectives.• Provide timely, effective coaching to leaders, aiding in the development of transformational leadership skills.• Develop and maintain a positive, productive environment, ensuring consistent application of company guidance and behaviors.• Offer strategic coaching to key talent regarding succession planning, career development, and performance management.• Embrace and actively engage with the new operating model, seeking more efficient ways to operate.• Drive efficiency and consistency across all site functions to improve culture and employee engagement.• Lead and coach site leadership on HR processes including employee advocacy, employee relations, performance management, career development, talent assessment, acquisition, retention, and workplace investigations.• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and HR Operations teams to implement HR strategies.• Ensure timely identification, reporting, investigation, and resolution of employee relations issues.• Conduct investigations, gather and analyze information, and recommend disciplinary actions if necessary.• Provide advice to managers and employees to ensure policy compliance and promote an ethical work environment.• Lead key HR processes such as compensation planning and compliance.• Act as an employee advocate, supporting employee success.• Conduct HR training for processes like Performance Development, People Review, Salary Planning, and New Employee Orientation.• Promote leadership excellence through training, development planning, feedback, and coaching.• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.• Lead HR projects across the site and business as needed.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or a High School Diploma with 7 years of progressive HR experience.At least 5 years of professional HR experience with client-facing responsibilities, including employee/people leader development and performance management (or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of related experience).Willingness to travel up to 20% for internal meetings.Preferred QualificationsExperience as an HR generalist in a manufacturing environment.Employee Relations experience is highly preferred.Approachable, responsive, and able to build trust across all employee levels.Strong problem-solving and project management skills.High customer service orientation and emotional intelligence.Ability to create a positive work environment and diffuse tense situations.Knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements.
