We care for our people and promote diversity and inclusion.Job responsibilitiesLead multi-country projects, negotiating and preparing contracts, budgets, and related documents for industry-sponsored clinical trials.Create site-specific contracts from country templates, review and own these contracts, and submit proposals for site review.Negotiate budgets and contracts with sites and via the Site Contracts Service Centre and SSUL with Sponsors until resolved.Perform quality control, arrange execution of CTAs, archive documents, and ensure contract accuracy and completeness.Manage contract processes, coordinating with protocol, consent, institution, investigator, vendor, and customer agreements.Generate amendments and streamline contract processes, introducing creative solutions.Collaborate with legal and other departments to harmonize contracts with master service agreements.Work with finance and operations to validate budgets and backlog.Identify operational risks and work proactively to provide solutions, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.Support business development and represent site contracts at meetings.Ensure timelines are met, track milestones, and report progress.Communicate legal and budget issues clearly with internal and external teams.Maintain and develop templates, databases, and training materials.Serve as a liaison, providing guidance, updates, and training to team members.Participate in strategic discussions and facilitate contract execution.Monitor financial aspects and escalate discrepancies promptly.Ensure compliance with SOPs and WIs, maintaining training records and timesheet accuracy.QualificationsWhat we’re looking forBA/BS in Business Administration, Public Health, or related field; advanced degree preferred.Experience in contracts management within CRO or pharmaceutical industry.Management experience preferred.Strong knowledge of clinical development, legal, and contractual parameters.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Customer-focused, adaptable, and able to handle challenging priorities.Understanding of clinical trial processes across phases I-IV and ICH GCP.Knowledge of clinical protocols and start-up processes.Project and vendor management skills.Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to mentor, provide feedback, and contribute to training and quality assurance.Get to know Syneos HealthOver the past 5 years, we've worked with 94% of FDA-approved drugs, 95% of EMA products, and over 200 studies across 73,000 sites and 675,000+ patients.Join us to make a difference.
