Most backend engineers write APIs. You'll write the ones that talk to SAP.
This role owns the integration layer of an enterprise HR platform - the SSO implementation, the SAP/ERP adapters, the payroll export/import pipelines, the audit logging system, the message queues. It's unglamorous work that makes or breaks enterprise software. If you find satisfaction in a perfectly idempotent event handler and a clean RBAC model, you'll love this.
What makes this role interesting: You'll touch systems most engineers never get near. The AI tooling (Claude Code Max 20x + ChatGPT Pro) means the repetitive scaffolding disappears and you spend your time on the problems that actually require a human.
What you'll actually do
* Implement SSO integration using OpenID/OAuth2 with the client's identity provider
* Build and harden RBAC - role hierarchy, field-level permissions, audit trails
* Design and implement bi-directional SAP ERP integration (employee master data, payroll, cost centers)
* Own the RabbitMQ event architecture for async workflows across modules
* Write the country-specific compliance logic: payroll rules, leave policies, statutory contributions across 15+ countries
What we need from you
* Strong Golang - you've built production APIs, not just tutorials
* Experience with at least one ERP or enterprise integration (SAP, Odoo, or equivalent)
* MySQL schema design you're not embarrassed to show
* You write tests as part of writing code, not as an afterthought
* Comfortable in English - the codebase, tickets, and technical docs are in English
