**Procurement in Consumer Health** ensures fast, secure, and cost-effective access to materials and services that support self-care products like supplements and OTC treatments. It drives innovation, sustainability, and operational efficiency by partnering with suppliers and internal teams. The function is key to delivering value, improving healthcare access, and enabling digital transformation across the division.
As the Procurement Regional Category Manager (M/F/d), you are responsible for improving the Regional Procurement performance by leading and managing regional projects and supporting stakeholders with Procurement-specific expertise. You contribute to Customer Teams, Product Teams, Technical Teams, or other Mission Teams, as well as programs in the procurement community on a global/regional or local level
**YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO**:
- Drive the outcome-based definition of project scopes, team management, and deliverables, and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure delivery within time and budget
- Represent PRO PS CH Procurement in Mission Teams and coordinate Procurement-specific input across relevant Procurement Areas
- Proactively identify areas with room for improvement and develop concrete project proposals on how to address these
- Strongly engage with related Communities of Practice
- Provides country-specific market intelligence to mitigate supply risk, gain competitive advantage, and make better business decisions
- Continuously conducts detailed supplier and supply market analysis regional level looking at facts and indicating market trends in supply base and technology
- Maintains regional oversight and proactively communicates potential supply constraints to the Category Leadership network
- Supports sourcing events for strategic initiatives

**ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?**
**Must have**:
- Bachelor or equivalent degree in science, engineering, or business management.
- Previous experience in Procurement / Product Supply in similar seniority positions.
- Solid background and generalist expertise in procurement and procurement processes and methodologies (e.g., category management, supplier management, and sourcing).
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills combined with strong collaboration, influencing, and communication competencies
- Experienced in acting in diverse and cross-functional project teams and working in a complex, global environment.
- Experience in negotiating and managing purchasing projects.
- Advanced/fluent knowledge of English and Portuguese.
- Intermediate knowledge of the office package.
- Capable of working in a global and virtual working environment and able to lead virtual teams.
- Regional market insights and general understanding of the industry.
- Change management and project management.
- Financial acumen and strategic mindset seasoned with analytical decision-making skills.
- Availability to travel (around 15% of the time), including at least 2 trips to Mexico per year and on average 2 other international trips.
