Software Release Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Software Release Manager II to lead our software release planning, coordination, and execution efforts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT governance, change management, and release coordination, with experience working with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality releases.
This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Release Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive release plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
* Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, operations, and change management teams to ensure readiness and quality of releases.
* Communication: Communicate release progress, identify risks, and escalate issues as needed to stakeholders.
* Reporting: Develop and maintain reports on release performance, metrics, and key learnings.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* At least 4 years of experience in release coordination, change management, or related IT governance roles.
* Familiarity with SDLC processes and testing practices.
* Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
