About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned professional to bridge finance and technology, leveraging their expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and SAP functional knowledge to drive system configurations for planning, reporting, and forecasting.
* Bridging Finance and Tech: The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial data flows, hierarchies, and consolidation logic, allowing them to effectively translate financial requirements into system configurations.
* System-Driven Financial Accuracy: They will possess a strong understanding of SAP BPC and SAC, with the ability to validate system outputs and ensure financial integrity in reporting.
* Financial Acumen: Our ideal candidate will have FP&A expertise, including knowledge of P&L drivers, budgeting logic, and variance analysis, to identify and address financial issues.
* Root-Cause Resolution Capability: They will be able to reverse-engineer financial reports with data issues, determine the root cause, and coordinate fixes with IT or finance accordingly.
* Sustained System Enhancement & Governing: This role requires someone who understands both system limitations and financial controls within FP&A, enabling them to improve SAP-based planning and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement SAP BPC and SAC configurations to meet financial planning and reporting needs.
* Analyze and resolve financial data issues, working closely with IT and finance teams.
* Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and systems.
* Stay up-to-date with SAP developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our financial systems.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in FP&A, with a strong background in SAP BPC and SAC.
* Expertise in financial data flows, hierarchies, and consolidation logic.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex financial issues.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with IT, finance, and other stakeholders.
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with advanced degree preferred.
