Intellectual Property Project Coordinator

This role involves overseeing and managing patent filing requests. You will collaborate closely with clients, translators, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results within scope. Responsibilities include coordinating various aspects of patent filings, including budgeting, scheduling, docketing, document submission, and quality assurance.
This is a full-time remote position requiring commitment to working Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm in Pacific Standard Time. Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is necessary for effective communication with teammates and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing all required documents for EP, PCT, and foreign applications.
* Initiating proactive preparation of responses to official communications and notifications.
* Coordinating filings of EP/international and foreign patent applications and related correspondence from filing to issuance of grant.
* Maintaining close monitoring of assigned cases to ensure timely completion of related tasks.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in either a law firm or corporate setting.
* Experience working with EP, PCT, and foreign applications.
* Strong organizational, leadership, and management abilities.
* Significant experience managing complex projects.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Successful track record of collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong experience implementing translation tools into existing workflows.
* Comfort working with CAT tools and various Machine Translation engines.
* Ability to define processes and standards for translation and quality assurance.
* Skilled at training users in MTPE & TM workflows.
* Skilled at vendor recruitment and negotiations.
