Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Product Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to design and ship complex web or mobile interfaces.
The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for defining and leading the design experiences across three core products, working closely with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and scope appropriately.
The role requires a strong bias for action, flexibility, and willingness to pivot in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
* Design and lead the development of user experiences across multiple products
* Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and scope appropriately
* Conduct usability testing sessions and gather feedback to refine designs
* Establish and maintain a consistent design language and component library
* Contribute to the overall brand experience by creating and maintaining brand and marketing materials
Requirements
* 4+ years of experience in Product/UX Design
* Fluent in English
* Strong portfolio showcasing ability to design and ship complex web or mobile interfaces
* Proficiency with Figma and experience designing for similar users preferred (Nurses, Senior Care Professionals)
Work Expectations
The team is distributed, but generally located in North and South America. Work hours are flexible, but there are regular meetings you'll be expected to attend. The team relies heavily on Figma, Slack, Linear, and Notion for collaboration.
The role is full-time, but you will be paid as a contractor. To enable this, the company will work with individuals who already have a company set up in Brazil or help you set up your company to be compensated.
Interview Process
* Asynchronous portfolio review: Create a 15-minute video walking through a relevant project that demonstrates your skills and experience related to the role.
* Project: Spend 2 hours on a small project, given product context, to come up with low-fidelity designs for a user experience addressing the problem.
* 1-2 additional follow-up 1:1s with the founder and/or Head of Engineering may be requested to address unresolved questions.
