Advisor for Cybercrime and OSINT Data Collection (Part-time)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Cybercrime and OSINT Analyst to join our fully remote team on a part-time basis. In this flexible advisory role (approximately 5-10 hours per week), you will train and mentor our team of analysts to detect threat actors online. Depending on availability, you may also conduct research in various contexts such as Darknet markets, terrorist financing, scams, and CSAM.
We offer competitive compensation with payment options in either fiat or cryptocurrency.
Requirements
Professional experience in Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) methods.
Specific expertise in at least one of the following: Darknet Market activities, Terrorist Financing, Scams (particularly in East Asia), or CSAM investigations
Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and handle sensitive information with utmost discretion.
Experience collaborating with law enforcement agencies or working in high-pressure environments (preferred)
Nice to have
Experience conducting undercover research on cybercrime websites.
Familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency forensics tools.
Fluency in languages such as Russian, Mandarin, Arabic, or other relevant languages.

Key Responsibilities
Help reference illegal activities across various domains (Darknet Markets, Terrorism Financing, Scams, CSAM, Exploit, Cybercrime, Hawala Banking).
Train our team of analysts to discover new cybercrime entities online and document SOPs to make such discovery routine.
Conduct undercover research to infiltrate and understand illicit networks operating on the Darknet and other online platforms.
Utilize OSINT techniques and tools to identify key actors and suspicious wallets.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, threats, and methods in illicit cryptocurrency activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of our labeling database.
Prepare detailed analytical reports on emerging threats, including identifying major players in illicit online networks.
