 
        
        Technical Sales Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to provide expert sales support as a solution expert within our fast-growing business.
This individual will be responsible for managing the technical sales process, primarily during the discovery and validation stages of the sales process. This includes scoping, executing, and presenting complex Proof of Value (evaluations) to prospective customers and partners.
You will be expected to quickly come up to speed on our product offerings. Your deep product knowledge, as well as in-depth knowledge of security, networking, and operating systems, will help you effectively position our products while solving difficult technical problems for potential customers.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Partner with Account Executives and Channel Account Managers to establish and execute sales strategy
 * Deliver tailored technical sales presentations and demonstrations
 * Plan and execute Proof of Value activities
 * Communicate feature requests and product ideas into product management
 * Document ongoing sales cycles and PoVs in Salesforce.com
Required Skills and Qualifications:
 * Experience with complex technical sales cycles, including deep discovery and scoping
 * Ability to communicate technical concepts to all levels of people
 * Understanding of data-in-transit security, network services, and endpoint security tools
 * Familiarity with popular firewall vendors and basic rule design
 * Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
