Record and Earn: An Artist's Role
At Turing, we're seeking talented artists to collaborate with creators or assistants on a groundbreaking project. This initiative involves recording daily activities using a GoPro camera for the Common Lives Project. The collected data will be used to train AI models on creativity, collaboration, and real-world artistic routines.
Role Overview:
We're looking for artists who can wear a head-mounted GoPro camera to capture their daily activities for 5 days within a 2-week window. The recordings should cover a minimum of 7 hours per day, with breaks taken for privacy. Participants will need to upload footage, review short clips, delete, anonymize, or consent to each video segment daily.
Household Requirements:
* No children under 18 present or visiting during recording.
* All adults must be fluent English speakers and agree to being recorded.
* The household must live in a private, self-contained apartment or indoor work environment.
* All household members must agree to appear in the footage.
Participant Requirements:
* Work indoors in non-customer-facing roles (e.g., not retail or child care).
* Participants sharing a workplace or household should both have a GoPro mounted.
* Preferably engaged in manual or creative work (e.g., chef, artist, carpenter, musician).
* Must be self-employed or have employer consent to record at work.
* Able to use a computer for basic tasks like reviewing and uploading video clips.
Technical Requirements:
* Access to a computer and internet connection.
* Comfortable using web-based tools for uploading and reviewing clips.
* GoPro camera and accessories provided by Turing.
