Purpose of the position: - The purpose of the Regional IT Manager position is to take responsibility for IT in all regional schools and office and support the business in the optimization of business processes. - The initial phase includes transition of IT systems, IT contracts and infrastructure in Brazil to Inspired Education global model. The Regional IT Manager will oversee this migration. - The Regional IT manager is responsible to run IT Operations & Projects, manage agreed service levels, ensuring day-to-day activities and a state-of-the-art service is delivered to the business. - The Regional IT Manager is responsible for IT employees in Brazil - The Regional IT Manager is responsible for local IT Budget and Control IT running cost. - The Regional IT Manager reports to the Group CIO and has a dotted reporting line to Regional CEO. Main accountabilities and major tasks: - In the context of the IT Operating Model and Group IT guidelines, the Regional IT Manager is responsible for the following activities: Business Relationship Management - Act as the Business Relationship Manager on Local Management teams with key role to establish and maintain working relationships across group and all functions/departments - Deeply understand the local business processes and local market opportunities/challenges to identify potential IT solutions to meet the requirements - Serve as facilitator between Business and group IT working identifying and promoting synergies. - Support the creation of business cases 2. Project Management - Lead and Supervise IT projects ensuring that the project targets are delivered on time, in scope and within budget - Define and initiate evaluations, programs or projects to implement the strategy defined together with the business partners - Establish and participate in Steering Committees for programs or projects - Establish and ensure successful Project Management (structure, roles & responsibilities, execution) in accordance with project methodology agreed. 3. IT Controlling - Review, manage and optimize the IT budget - Deliver monthly budget reporting (plan & actual) ensuring accuracy on IT monthly costs - Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective action 4. IT Service Management - Steer IT service delivery via defined Service Level Agreements, OLAs, external contracts with suppliers and operational KPIs - Ensure a high level of service according to ITIL best practices (staff, skills, processes, methods and tools) is delivered to the business - Check and monitor regular service reports from local providers - React to negative deviations for local IT services 5. Continuous improvement - Continuously improve service management processes and performance metrics in alignment with existing IT operating model and IT guidelines - Increase and continuously improve the IT maturity Level at the schools 6. Governance & Documentation - Keep the relevant documentation up to date, leading its creation and enhancements - Lead and monitor the IT Governance model ensuring compliance with company policies, IT guidelines and security standards - Steer/control the IT supplier/outsourcing contracts and corresponding delivery - Ensure IT License and Asset Management and drive a structured IT Risk Management for IT service
