The People & Culture Coordinator at ProFarm Group will serve as a versatile and proactive HR professional. In this role, you'll support and enhance core P&C operations while acting as a trusted partner to both employees and managers. You'll play a key role in fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture and ensuring an exceptional employee experience across the organization.

The People & Culture Coordinator at ProFarm Group will serve as a versatile and proactive HR professional. In this role, you'll support and enhance core P&C operations while acting as a trusted partner to both employees and managers. You'll play a key role in fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture and ensuring an exceptional employee experience across the organization.
This is a remote role based out of California with a requirement to be onsite at the Davis, CA office as needed.
Responsibilities & Duties
* Support full-cycle recruitment, from job postings, sourcing, interviews and onboarding.
* Ensure a smooth, positive experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
* Maintain and update HRIS systems with a focus on data integrity, reporting accuracy, and process improvements
* Support benefits administration, leave tracking, and policy implementation.
* Support the development and implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives.
* Assist in identifying training needs and developing customized programs for employees at all levels.
* Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust as needed.
* Help ensure compliance with labor laws and internal procedures, supporting audits and documentation.
* Collaborate on People & Culture projects, from performance management to engagement initiatives.
* Assist with processing P&C related invoices and manage purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) in coordination with the Finance team.
* Assist with day-to-day employee relations by responding to questions, escalating concerns, and supporting positive workplace interactions.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
* Experience: Prior experience with Human Resources, People Operations, or related experience is preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
* Skills: Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and an ability to learn new software quickly. Experience with an HRIS preferred.

Travel Requirements
* Travel up to 10% to assist in P&C events or work temporarily in another location to meet company HR needs in either our Davis, CA facility or Bangor, MI plant.
