Job Description
This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional who can oversee the financial management of a global operations, focusing on USA projects. The successful candidate will manage existing financial processes and systems, initially transitioning responsibilities from our Australian Finance Manager and departing CFO.
The Financial Controller will play a crucial role in establishing financial practices to support project growth. Key responsibilities include overseeing all financial management and operations for USA projects, collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information, and conducting month-end accounting and reporting for the USA entity and consolidated group entities.
Additional duties involve setting, reviewing, monitoring, and managing company and project budgets and forecasts, collaborating with Engineers to price and model project costs, and managing company tax affairs, including oversight of income tax returns and tax compliance, working closely with tax agents.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in finance, accounting, forecasting, financial reporting, and capital projects, as well as proficiency in financial planning and analysis, international finance, and financial consolidation. Experience in project finance and corporate finance is also highly regarded.
Responsibilities:
