About the Role
We are looking for a BI Analyst to own and improve business reporting across fraud, chargebacks, alerts, merchant performance, and operations. This role is focused on dashboards, KPI tracking, reporting consistency, metric definitions, and turning business questions into clear, actionable insights.
You will work closely with leadership, operations, product, and engineering to make data easier to understand, easier to trust, and more useful in day-to-day decision-making.
Responsibilities
Own dashboards, recurring reports, and KPI tracking across core business areas
Build and maintain reporting that gives teams clear visibility into fraud, chargebacks, disputes, alerts, and operational performance
Write and optimize SQL for reporting, analysis, and data validation
Define, document, and improve business metrics so teams are working from consistent numbers
Analyze trends, anomalies, and performance changes across key datasets
Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into practical reporting and analysis
Improve the usability, accuracy, and trustworthiness of existing reports and dashboards
Identify reporting gaps, data inconsistencies, and metric definition issues
Create clear visualizations and present findings in a business-friendly way
Support self-service reporting and help teams use data more effectively
Requirements
Strong SQL skills
Experience building and maintaining dashboards and recurring business reporting
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clear metrics, reporting, and analysis
Experience working with production data and validating reporting accuracy
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience defining and maintaining KPIs or business metrics
Comfortable working in a remote environment
Able to pass a background check
Preferred
Experience with fraud, payments, chargebacks, disputes, risk, or other operational data
Experience with BI and visualization tools
Experience working with large datasets in a business reporting environment
Experience with AWS-based data environments
Basic Python skills for ad hoc analysis or validation
Experience with ClickHouse or similar analytical databases
Familiarity with data warehouse or reporting-layer concepts
