**Job Title:** Big Data Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Big Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the Core ML Powerback Features Team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining backend systems that power user-facing features.
* Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable solutions in core applications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on end-to-end functionality.
* Write reliable, maintainable, and testable code with a focus on technical excellence.
* Work with world-class engineers on high-impact projects, continuously learning and growing your skills.
Required Skills:
* Java Backend Development: Strong experience in Java backend development is required.
* Big Data Technologies: Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and MapReduce is essential.
* System Design: Ability to design, build, and maintain systems used by multiple engineers over the long term.
* RESTful APIs: Familiarity with RESTful APIs, storage, caching, and data processing is necessary.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to explain system designs and product implications clearly.
Preferred Experience:
* 3–5 years of professional experience in backend or Big Data engineering.
* Prior work on user-facing products, understanding user experience, and identifying quick product improvements.
