Senior Project Manager ERP Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned project manager to join our team and lead high-profile projects from initiation to delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale initiatives, with expertise in identifying business needs, analyzing requirements, and defining project scope and objectives.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. They will also have experience with financial and accounts payable systems, including JD Edwards (JDE), Cognos, and other relevant software platforms.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate business problems and assess the potential for automated solutions
* Identify, evaluate, and develop specifications for systems and procedures that meet business requirements
* Execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing for systems that align with business needs
* Analyze business reporting, systems data, and relevant performance data to provide insights to business and IT leaders
Leadership and Expertise
The successful candidate will be recognized as a subject matter expert in the sub-function, with advanced education and significant work experience. They will manage large projects, processes, products, and systems with limited oversight from management, providing coaching, review, and delegating work to lower-level professionals.
Additionally, they will address IT-related problems that are difficult and moderately complex, serving as an expert within the discipline.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will typically require a University Degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience. They will possess exceptional verbal, analytical, and written communication skills, with the ability to speak and write to both C-level and technical audiences.
A certification in CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) or PMP (Project Management Professional) is preferred but not required.
