We are in Supply Chain Management at CropScience Division, our area is called SC Data&Analytics, and its main objective is to provide a clear path for a Data & Analytics Strategy by recommending and delivering solutions that will support our internal customers to perform a more optimized and efficient operation through modern technical solutions and lean processes connecting the industry best practices.
In this area, you will have the opportunity to develop a holistic view of the entire Bayer SCM in Latin America, with effective action from the construction of the strategy to the implementation of the solutions together with the local teams. It will interface with different areas, working with a diverse and collaborative group that is closely connected to innovation.
The Latam Data & Analytics team will actively strive for the Agile way of working, Innovative initiatives and looking for the best practices around D&A that connect global and regional demands and support Bayer in the process of digital and cultural transformation.
**YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO**:
- Leverage large volume of data from internal and external sources to answer the Key Business Questions preparing data for use in predictive and prescriptive modeling;
- Recommend and sometimes implement ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality;
- Provide guidance and strive for up to date D&A (Data & Analytics) technologies in the region aligned with Prod Supply Strategy;
- Connect Digital and SCM capabilities transforming data into insights to empower people’s decision making based on a data driven mindset;
- **SC analytics to drive business decisions** | Manages Supply Chain analytics including delivery, fulfillment, total cost of supply, customer satisfaction, service levels, production adherence, voice of the customer and digital performance. Implements the vision and structuring of activities within LATAM SCM specific initiatives; permanent monitoring/controlling of the implementation and support progress. Leads the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing SCM metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, to drive key business decisions. Ensure data accuracy by validating data for new and existing tools.
- **Business Opportunity insights** | Identifies the opportunities by interacting with Supply Chain managers to understand and analyzes existing business processes, systems, and analytical tools to identify, document pain points and recommend solutions to ensure business questions are properly answered.
- **Analytical solutions provider |** Understand trends related to Supply Chain business and recommends strategies to stakeholders to help drive business growth and implementation of Supply Chain strategy. Translate business problems into analytical solutions by selecting appropriate models based on business objectives, data limitations, confidence requirements. Perform Business Process Modeling (includes logical modeling, data retention, and business process modeling) and predictive models' development for SCM projects.
- **Digitalization liaison |** Liaises the adoption of new technologies to advance the digitalization of Supply Chain network design including Supply Chain Integrated Planning (SCIP), Track & Trace, IoT, artificial intelligence, and channel-integrated digital platforms. Supports digital supply chain transformation in the LATAM region
- **LATAM Business data & Analytics Community Establishment |** Engage LATAM Supply Chain teams to participate in specialist teams to share business challenges and technical knowledge. Enable efficient business data & Analytics knowledge management and sharing through forums, meetings, or seminars. Leverage company digital maturity trough development of new professionals to work with analytical tools.
**ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION**:
**Mandatory**
- Bachelor’s degree, on Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields (preferably with a degree in science / engineering, Automation, IT or comparable education)
- Previous experience as Data Scientist, Data Engineering or Data Analyst required.
- Fluent Portuguese and English;
- Ability to guide and promote teamwork when working with people from multiple diverse backgrounds, disciplines and positions with a Data Driven mindset;
