Regulatory Research Analyst
This is a fully remote role focused on researching and tracking global trade regulations, primarily across LATAM and North America.
Main Responsibilities:
* We require an individual to monitor and maintain up-to-date awareness of legislative and regulatory changes in assigned countries using government websites, agencies, third-party sources, and in-country experts.
* The ideal candidate will track global trade compliance regulations, including customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other relevant requirements across jurisdictions (U.S., Canada, LATAM, etc.).
* A strong focus on interpreting, analyzing, and documenting new or amended legislation in an internal repository with high accuracy and clarity is required.
* Preparation of comparative analyses of regulatory changes when required is also key.
* Maintenance of research and documentation to meet ISO process standards.
SAP GTS Alignment:
* Research and provide insights relevant to SAP GTS (v11 or similar), supporting product specialists on topics such as Export Control & Licensing, Import Control & Market Access, Sanctions & Restricted Party Compliance, Customs & Tariff Management, Trade Agreements & Origin Management, Regulatory Reporting & Declarations, Product & Classification Compliance, Collaboration & Documentation.
* Deliver clear summaries and detailed regulatory insights needed by ERP and product specialists to implement system changes for clients.
* Collaboration with Business Analysts and fellow researchers to validate findings and maintain consistency.
