Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in Portfolio/Program/Project Management areas (Portfolio Manager, Program Manager) in multidisciplinary projects including embedded and enterprise areas.
* Experience in technology, process management, managing quality and costs for programs and projects (e.G., cost, quality, schedule, performance), financial reporting, analysis, and planning during the project lifecycle.
* Proven experience in escalation management in global, complex programs, especially in fixed‑price engagements.
* Proven experience implementing program management/quality process improvements and tools to effectively manage program/project quality aspects.
* Proven experience implementing project management/financial process improvements and tools to effectively manage project costs.
* Must have proven experience managing multiple programs and project areas including quality, financials, priorities, and tasks across multiple projects and teams – while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high quality.
* Keen attention to details.
* Documented experience in:
o Establishing, maintaining, and tracking project budgets, and overall cost control.
o Establishing resource plans and translating resource plans into financial forecasts.
o Preparing detailed monthly project forecasts, managing project forecast processes, and conducting project review meetings.
o Presenting financials to leadership, including executive leadership.
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and time management skills;
with the ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership.
* Strong partnering, influencing, and interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, active listening, and communication;
high attention to detail;
demonstrated ability toinfluence partners and key business decisions.
* Experience with legal documents, purchase orders, statements of work, etc.
* Demonstrate an understanding of the overall project execution process, including budgeting, project forecasting, cost control, schedule, and anticipated cost.

* Demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to achieve business results.
* Experience working for a large, global company and within a matrix organization.
* Experience supporting technology organizations using agile practices.
Required Education
BA/BS in business, finance, accounting, computer science preferred, or other technical field or appropriate work experience.
Licenses / Training
* PMI Certification or equivalent a plus.
* PMI or Scrum Alliance (or similar) certifications in Program Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master competencies are preferred.

* Triage escalated programs and diagnose root cause quickly.

* Capture what went wrong and feed it into the coaching and knowledge base.
2. Communication Management Responsibilities
Purpose: Protect and strengthen client and stakeholder relationships at high‑stakes moments.
* Support PMs in crafting difficult client communications – bad news, delays, scope changes.
* Develop and maintain communication frameworks and templates for complex scenarios.
* Step in directly for executive‑level stakeholder management when needed.
* Ensure messaging is consistent, transparent, and trust‑building.
* Manage internal communication during escalations to keep leadership aligned.
3. Coaching & Capability Responsibilities
Purpose: Build PM capability continuously so escalations reduce over time.
* Provide one‑to‑one coaching for PMs on complex programs.
* Run structured capability assessments and define development plans.
* Facilitate peer learning sessions, case study reviews, and lessons learned workshops.
* Embed on programs proactively – not just when things go wrong.
* Build and maintain the program management playbook and knowledge assets.
