About the Role
The Sales Engineering Delivery Manager plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between clients and internal teams. You will lead technical discovery sessions, gather essential engagement details, and translate insights into impactful proposals. This position requires a strong understanding of business strategy and the software development lifecycle (SDLC), along with excellent communication and design skills.
Responsibilities:
* Technical Discovery & Stakeholder Engagement
o Assemble the Sales Support Engineering team, align them on preliminary information, following internal RACI procedures;
o Lead the Technical Discovery call, showcasing interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust quickly;
o Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the SDLC—from ideation and inception through discovery and development to market release;
o Use consultative questioning to uncover client pain points and business objectives, extracting and analyzing high-level requirements (timeline, budget, skill needs, risk);
o Present clear, persuasive client-facing communications during calls and emails.
* Proposal Development & Deliverable Creation
o Develop dynamic, visually compelling presentation decks and engagement proposals that articulate service offerings, project scope, value propositions, and strategic recommendations;
o Customize deliverables to reflect client-specific challenges uncovered during discovery;
o Integrate technical insights with business strategy to address immediate deliverables and long-term client growth.
* Team Buildout & Project Kickoff
o Act as the primary coordination point among Sales, Recruiting, and Engineering;
o Ensure smooth handoffs from initial engagement through team buildout to project kickoff;
o Serve as a concierge for deals and translate complex technical aspects into digestible, business-focused narratives;
o Maintain a sales/consulting mindset to align proposals with targeted business outcomes.

o Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle—from conceptualization through market release—and familiarity with agile methodologies;
o Ability to discuss technical nuances without losing sight of business impact.
* Analytical & Strategic Thinking
o Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex information, identify key insights, and recommend actionable strategies;
o Ability to prioritize client objectives while balancing technical feasibility and business goals.
* Team Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination
o Demonstrated ability to work across multiple departments, managing internal communications as deals move from funnel to kickoff;
o Ability to serve as a liaison across Sales, Engineering, and Recruiting.
* Consultative Sales Experience
o Prior experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting role, ideally within a digital software consultancy or similar environment;
o Ability to quickly assess client needs and translate them into actionable insights and proposals.
* English Proficiency
o Upper Intermediate level.
